Perjanjian Ekstradisi antara Indonesia dan Vietnam

Abstract

The bilateral relations between the Republic of Indonesia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has existed long enough, starting with the opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Hanoi in 1955. At present, both countries continuously build strong partnerships in various sectors through a comprehensive partnership. The result of this partnership can be seen from the progress of bilateral cooperation in various fields. To prevent the negative impact of the advancement of technology, science, and several other aspects, an effective cooperation between countries is necessarily needed through agreements, both bilateral and multilateral, especially to prevent and to combat crimes. To improve relations and effective cooperation between countries, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has signed an extradition treaty in Jakarta on June 27, 2013. The agreement then ratified in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2015 concerning the Ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Republic of Indonesia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
