Manuscript Policies

  1. Editors will review manuscripts to assess whether they meet the journal’s writing guidelines and fit its aims and scopes. The authors will get notifications about the result of the initial review in two weeks.
  2. If the manuscript passes the editors’ initial review, the editors will send it to reviewers for a double-blind review process. The reviewers will read and review the manuscripts in four weeks. During this process, the reviewers and authors remain anonymous.
  3. After reviewing the manuscript, reviewers may advise the editors to accept the manuscript, accept it with revision, or reject it. If editors consider that the manuscript is acceptable with revision, they will return it to the author to ask him or her to revise it. The editors will give the author three weeks for revision.
  4. After receiving the revised manuscripts from the authors, the editors will re-evaluate the manuscripts to check whether they have addressed the reviewers’ concerns and revise the manuscript. The editors will make the final decision about the publication.
  5. If the editors agree to publish the manuscript, they will proofread and edit it. Afterward, they will send the edited manuscript to the author for final review and publication confirmation.
  6. As Jurnal International & Diplomacy Universitas Satya Negara Indonesia is an open-access publication, editors will not charge the author for publishing the manuscript and will allow readers to read and download it for free.
